Into the wild

Dedico la frase seguente tratta dal film “Into the wild” a chi ancora oggi si sorprende e congratula con noi per la nostra “nuova avventura” che abbiamo iniziato esattamente 4 anni fa.

"C'è tanta gente infelice che tuttavia non prende l'iniziativa di cambiare la propria situazione perché è condizionata dalla sicurezza, dal conformismo, dal tradizionalismo, tutte cose che sembrano assicurare la pace dello spirito, ma in realtà per l'animo avventuroso di un uomo non esiste nulla di più devastante di un futuro certo. Il vero nucleo dello spirito vitale di una persona è la passione per l'avventura. La gioia di vivere deriva dall'incontro con nuove esperienze, e quindi non esiste gioia più grande dell'avere un orizzonte in costante cambiamento, del trovarsi ogni giorno sotto un sole nuovo e diverso... Non dobbiamo che trovare il coraggio di rivoltarci contro lo stile di vita abituale e buttarci in un'esistenza non convenzionale... (Christopher McCandless)"

I dedicate the following phrase coming from the movie "Into the wild" to those who still today are surprised and congratulate us on our "new adventure" that we started exactly 4 years ago.

“So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun… We just have to have the courage to turn against our habitual lifestyle and engage in unconventional living.”
